Landscape of Algonquin Provincial Park in winter.

Winter in Algonquin Park is immensely beautiful. We hiked the Two River Trail on the New Year day after the first major snow fall of 2016. The contrast between the white snow and black creek, muted colour and fresh snow on the pine trees, a perfect image of true northern wilderness.

I made a 12×18″ print and was amazed by the amount of details the 43M pixel Sony A7rII camera capture.
